Walton County Public Schools
Walton County Public Schools (WCPS) serves more than 13,500 students in Pre-K through 12th Grade. There are 15 schools including 9 elementary, 3 middle, and 3 high schools. The WCPS graduation rate consistently exceeds the state's rate and all teachers are highly qualified with 75% holding advanced degrees. WCPS offers a rigorous curriculum with many course offerings including advanced Placement and college dual enrollment. This year all high schools launched e-SMART (Engaging Students through Mobile Access to Resources and Teaching), an initiative focused on creating an engaging digital classroom with places a technology device in the hands of each student. Currently, all high school students are issued and iPad. Beginning in school year 2015, all high school and middle school students will be issued an iPad.
